MintPi Anti-Theft Security is an enterprise-grade mobile security, anti-intrusion, and remote device recovery tool designed exclusively to empower legitimate device owners to safeguard, sound alarms, locate, capture evidence, and recover lost or stolen Android devices.
3. Sensitive Permissions & Data Collection Disclosures
To deliver real-time emergency anti-theft capabilities, our application requests explicit, user-granted access to specific high-privilege Android APIs. Each permission is utilized strictly for lawful security enforcement as detailed below:
📍 Precise & Approximate Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION)
Emergency Alert Dispatches: Used to attach real-time GPS coordinates and a direct Google Maps link in emergency alert emails and Telegram notifications when security triggers are tripped (e.g. wrong PIN attempt, SIM swap, charger disconnect, critical battery, or remote web locate command).
Live GPS Route Breadcrumbs: If you explicitly enable the optional Route Breadcrumbs feature, the app periodically logs GPS fixes during active tracking to trace the path taken by a stolen device on your private dashboard. Location telemetry is encrypted with TLS 1.3 in transit and can be deleted at any time from your account.
📸 Front Camera Access (CAMERA, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_CAMERA)
Intruder Selfie: When an unauthorized person enters an incorrect Lockscreen PIN or pattern, the front camera quietly captures an intruder snapshot and attaches it to your emergency alert email.
Privacy Safeguard: Photos are captured exclusively upon failed unlock events or explicit remote owner command. Photos are never analyzed for facial recognition, biometric profiling, or advertising.
🎙️ Microphone & Audio Recording (RECORD_AUDIO, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE)
15-Sec Ambient Surveillance: When an intrusion alert is triggered (or upon direct remote command from the verified owner), the application captures a single 15-second ambient sound clip to provide acoustic evidence of the device surroundings.
Clap & Whistle Finder: The acoustic detection engine monitors sound frequencies and amplitude levels locally on your device in real-time to ring the pocket locator when you clap or whistle. No voice, sound, or ambient audio is ever saved, recorded, or transmitted to any server for the Clap/Whistle feature.
Privacy Safeguard: We strictly prohibit continuous or commercial eavesdropping. Audio recordings are hardware-encrypted, transmitted directly to your secure dashboard, and never processed for speech-to-text, voice recognition, or third-party profiling.
✉️ Offline Emergency SMS Remote Controls (RECEIVE_SMS, SEND_SMS)
Offline Emergency Lifeline: When a lost or stolen phone has mobile data and Wi-Fi switched off, the owner can send offline SMS commands (#SIREN, #LOCK, #LOCATION) from a trusted emergency number. The app parses the command and dispatches an emergency reply SMS containing live GPS coordinates.
Strict SMS Isolation: The application does NOT read, collect, inspect, store, or transmit your personal SMS text messages, banking OTPs, or private chat conversations. Non-matching messages are completely ignored.
📶 Bluetooth Connection (BLUETOOTH_CONNECT)
Bluetooth Anti-Separation Alarm: Monitors connection state with your trusted paired accessories (smartwatch, wireless earbuds, or beacon) to sound an immediate high-decibel alarm if your phone is separated from your person. No Bluetooth scanning data or nearby device identities are harvested.
👮 Device Administrator Permission (BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN)
Purpose: Utilized strictly to detect failed screen unlock attempts (ACTION_PASSWORD_FAILED) and execute instant remote screen lock. Device Admin privileges can be revoked by the user at any time in device system settings.
📶 Phone State & SIM Detection (READ_PHONE_STATE, SIM_STATE_CHANGED)
SIM Protection: Monitors SIM card presence to immediately trigger security locks and alert emergency contacts if an unauthorized party ejects or swaps the SIM card.
🔋 Battery Level Monitoring (Battery Guard)
Purpose: Automatically dispatches emergency "last-gasp" GPS coordinates and an intruder photo at critical battery levels (15% and 5%) before the smartphone runs out of power.
🔔 Persistent Foreground Services (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE)
Sensor Guardians: Keeps real-time anti-theft sensors (Pickpocket sensor, Motion guard, Charger unplug alarm) responsive while in the background, displaying a persistent, transparent system notification required by Android OS.
4. User Accounts & Google Sign-In Synchronization
To synchronize your device with the web administration panel, users may optionally sign in using Google Sign-In. We collect:
- Profile Data: Name, Email Address, Google User ID, and Avatar URL (from your Google account profile).
- Device Telemetry: Device Model, Android OS Version, Battery Percentage, and IP address for remote device diagnostics.
This information is strictly utilized to authenticate device ownership and synchronize remote commands.
5. In-App Purchases & Advertising Monetization
💳 Google Play In-App Billing (Version 8.0+)
All subscription purchases (Monthly, Yearly, Lifetime passes) are processed exclusively through Google Play In-App Billing (v8.0.0+). We do not process, collect, or store any credit/debit card numbers, UPI credentials, or bank details. All transactions are securely handled by Google LLC.
📢 Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
Free app tiers integrate Google AdMob to display non-intrusive ads (banner, interstitial, rewarded). Google AdMob may collect pseudonymous device identifiers (Google Advertising ID - AAID) and diagnostic data in compliance with Google Play Policies. 6. Third-Party Service Providers
We work only with reputable, industry-standard service providers to deliver vital functionality:
- Google LLC: Google Play Services, Location Services, Play Billing SDK, AdMob SDK.
- Telegram Messenger Inc. (Optional): Telegram Bot API for instant encrypted alerts to your private channel.
- Secure SMTP / Mail Services: For SSL-encrypted emergency email dispatches.
We do not sell, rent, lease, or monetize your personal data, photos, audio, or location history with third-party data brokers or ad networks.

- Local Device Erasure: Deactivating Device Admin and uninstalling the app permanently purges all local configurations, PINs, and cached photos from your device.
- Cloud Server Deletion: You can submit a deletion request below or via email to permanently purge all stored telemetry, Google account profile links, location breadcrumbs, intruder photos, and audio clips.

It is strictly prohibited under our Terms of Use to install or use this software for covert surveillance, unauthorized wiretapping, or stalking of third parties without their express legal consent. Violations of this policy will result in immediate termination of service and reporting to relevant legal authorities.

Our application is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
